Opportunities

Members assist with unit functions, such as finance, technology, administration, leadership, logistics, operations, marketing, and more.  This maintains the unit and allows us to train for, and ultimately provide, emergency services when needed.

A “duty assignment” is a role you fulfill within the unit. There are multiple options for duty positions, and many of these may have a primary member filling the position, with one or more secondary members. This cross-training strengthens the unit, ensuring that functions are always addressed, and preventing members from being overburdened. Some members may opt to have multiple duty positions, depending on their interests and availability.  Roles and their general function are described below.  Note that training is provided to learn these positions.
